Centers for Disease Control and Prevention - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's online information center. Contains travelers health advisory information, Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID), prevention guidelines and much more.
Food and Drug Administration - US governemnt's regulating body for food and drugs.
Healthfinder - A government sponsored resource for all medical concern and conditions. Contains information about specific cancers with more links, as well as general health and wellness information.
Mayo Health Oasis - A very comprehensive place to search for fact sheets on diseases, symptoms and conditions.
Medicine Net - Compiled by a network of doctors, contains information about specific diseases and treatment options. Also contains a pharmacy in which you may look up specific drugs by brand or generic name and a medical dictionary.
Medline Plus - Designed by the National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health, this website is a wealth of information on all health related topics including cancer. You may choose a specific condition, search for drugs, look at a medical dictionary or search for a doctor. The specific medical conditions sections have links to other helpful websites for information.
Medscape - All-inclusive medical center on the internet with many full text articles from the medical literature.
National Library of Medicine - Contains links to many articles, practice guidelines, consumer health, Medline and fact sheets.
The National Women's Health Information Center - One stop shopping for women's health information.
National Organization for Rare Disorders - Contains fact sheets, agencies and organizations contact information for rare disorders and diseases.
