The oncologist nurses at the Shaw Regional Cancer Care Center are vital components of the Shaw cancer care team. In spite of challenges of their profession, Shaw oncology nurses deliver compassionate, quality care on a day-to-day basis because of their high level of skills, knowledge, and dedication. Nurses at the Shaw take on leadership roles that ensure a continuum of quality cancer care for each patient by organizing and managing the cancer treatments and services throughout the journey to surviving cancer. Even though the Shaw Regional Cancer Care Center nurses are focused on the care, comfort, and healing of the patients, they also help families and caregivers deal with the uncertainties, anxieties, and misconceptions that are a part of the cancer experience.
