I did my clinical rotations at five centers; UCLA, UC Irvine, Long Beach Memorial, Hoag Hospital and Kaiser Permanente. In 1995, I also received a Massage Therapy Certification. Most recently in 2004, I completed my education for and was certified as a medical dosimetrist. I have experience in treating patients from the University of Michigan, Henry Ford, and other Detroit and Michigan hospitals, but have been a dosimetrist since 1979. Dosimetrists are responsible for creating computer modeled treatment plans for Radiation Oncologists, and communicating the approved plan to the Linear Accelerator, to be utilized by the Radiation Therapists. I work closely with the Medical Physicist in data analysis, quality assurance, and treatment planning and delivery process improvement.
