Shaw Regional Cancer Center

Welcome to the Shaw Regional Cancer Center, a program of Vail Valley Medical Center.

The Shaw Cancer Center is the only comprehensive cancer center in the central Rocky Mountains. Built in 2001, the Shaw was created to provide patient-centered care for both the people that live in the region and those who visit the Rocky Mountains. The Shaw Regional Cancer Center serves a six-county region including Eagle, Garfield, Pitkin, Lake, Summit and Routt, but "The Shaw" cares for people from every part of the country.

At The Shaw Cancer Center, we have created a relaxing, healing environment complete with cascading waterfalls, healing gardens, and soothing music. We offer cancer care, featuring state-of-the-art radiation treatment that includes IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy) and brachytherapy treatments for many types of cancer.
